POC Transcend Cap Review

Cycling covers are extraordinary for chilly climate riding, however, they do look a little fun off the bicycle. The POC Transcend Cap is the polar opposite, nonetheless. Charged as a cycling cap, this one is incredible for everything except cycling.

POC Transcend Cap Features:

Stretch material for a superior fit

Intelligent POC logo makes it simpler for others to see you

Wicks dampness away from the head

MSRP: $30

An "apres-cycling" cap

Positively, POC is most popular for their cycling protective caps and clothing, so it's a good idea to call the Transcend Cap a "cycling cap." I feel you in the soul, truly I do, however, I'm not entirely certain how I would utilize this under my cap. Thus, we'll consider it an apres-cycling cap. With that, I've chosen to utilize it for climbing, running, and in and out of town to perceive how it fared.

The Transcend is somewhat on the higher volume side, as such it sits pretty low on my head, tucking scarcely over my ears. Shades can wrap straight up there, yet this cap sits pretty low. With a close level edge, the cap looks like it and is quite smart, on the off chance that I do say as much myself. POC decided to utilize a stretchy elastane-mix material to give an agreeable fit that can oblige an assortment of hair thicknesses. While the edge is quite level, the cap is basically unstructured for simple reserving when voyaging. I went on it on an outing to Seattle and just pushed it in my lightweight suitcase (it wouldn't fret).

A little hint of water-repellency is given, however, this is in no way, shape, or forms a waterproof top. The inside creases are taped, which would make you suspect something. It supports keeping water under control, however principally, those creases are made for added solace.

An inner weave headband holds dampness back from trickling plentifully down your face when utilized for trail running. It feels quite great for that reason as well. Over the span of a 5-mile run, you can perceive how much perspiration it ingests.

Fit is cultivated with a straightforward customizable lash cut — pretty standard admission for these kinds of covers. While it tends to be changed effectively, I wanted that one side of the joined circle was stretchy for added solace.

The Good

The unstructured plan is handily reserved

Cap extends with you

Sew headband capably gets sweat

Jazzy for in and out of town, climbing or trail running

The Bad

The fit lash ought to have a flexible side for added solace/stretch

Taped creases on caps do in general weaken over the long run (I'll watch out for it)
